I didn't realise you were involved with this project, Jo. Brilliant stuff.

It is making me feel terribly, terribly inadequate though. My education stops with A-levels, and I don't have a career so much as a succession of really pants jobs (I think I'll just leave that box blank). Nobody's fault but my own, I suppose, but I fear looking like a poor relation next to most people who 'get involved in politics' at the best of times - in print it may prove to be all too much.

Yes, Duncan, you're right, it would've been better but I just didn't get around to thinking about it. Sometimes if you want to get something done you just have to go tactical; if I'd waited for it to be strategically perfect then I might not have got it done in the first place.

However, no doubt come Christmas you'll all be thinking of little enhancements that we could do and we could look at doing that then.

We have one minor problem come up so far, regarding overseas address and lack of post code to verify with the membership database; we're looking at it but it may well take a couple of days to sort.

If anyone is struggling with that, drop me a line at the email in the original posting and I will let you know when we've sorted it.

(I say we, but what I really mean is Chris & Bob).

Firstly, excellent idea to do it this way.
Only slight moan is that it would have been better to use the party "single sign on" so that users don't have to remember yet another username and password (though the same also applies to the members' area of LDV)
